Tv Pioneer Betty White Has Died At 99

Betty White America’s Golden Girl has died at the age 99. It is just days from what would have been her 100th birthday on January 17th. The beloved trailblazing actress, self-described “lucky old broad” with her sweetly sarcasm best known as Rose on ‘The Golden Girls’ and ‘Hot in Cleveland’.  She was honored by Guinness World Records as the longest television career by a female entertainer.

#DidYouKnow In 1954, #BettyWhite was criticized after having Arthur Duncan, a Black tap dancer, on her show. Her response: “I’m sorry. Live with it.” She then gave Duncan even more airtime. The show was canceled soon after. Rest well, Betty. #ThankYouForBeingAFriend
