Sunday night the Golden Globe Awards were held with no audience and no red carpet due to Covid. Will Smith won his first Golden Globe for his portrayal of Richard Williams in the movie, King Richard. Michaela Jae ‘MJ’ Rodriguez made history for her portrayal of Blanca in the FX series, Pose. She is the first-ever transgender actor to win a Golden Globe award. Rodriguez won for best actress in a drama series.
