Doctors are revealing how serious Deion Sanders’ recent injury was. The Jackson State coach was hospitalized with a foot issue a few months ago, and was unable to coach Jackson State for several games while he received treatment. New reports claim Sanders was dealing with significant trauma and doctors said he could have potentially needed to have his leg amputated. Sanders hinted in November that the complications stemmed from not following doctors’ orders after surgery. According to Bleacher Report he spent several weeks in the hospital, and needed a wheelchair when he returned to practice with Jackson State. I hope Coach Sanders is getting much needed rest and on his way back with a full recovery.
