Netflix is under fire for laying-off mostly women of color in its recent round of reduction in its workforce. Recently the company was applauded when they recruited a large number of Latinex, Asian and Black women from a few well-known publications. The streaming company has been nothing short of disrespectful in its approach to the recent termiantions. According to the report a large portion of the employees had been promoted only to be laid-off a given only two-weeks severance. That is totally unacceptable.
