The newest Supreme Court Justice was formally inducted into her new job on Friday. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson took part in her official investiture ceremony on Friday – an event attended by both President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Jackson was sworn in earlier this year as the first Black women ever to serve on the nation’s highest court.
The new Supreme Court term began on Monday. With this day in history we finally have representation on the highest court in the land.
