FBI Opens Investigation Into American’s Mysterious Death In Mexico

by

The FBI has opened an investigation into the death of Shanquella Robinson, an American citizen who lost her life under mysterious circumstances while vacationing in Mexico. Mexican authorities initially told Robinson’s family she had died of alcohol poisoning one day after she arrived in Cabo San Lucas with friends, says her mom, Salamondra Robinson. However, a subsequent autopsy report revealed the 25-year-old North Carolina resident actually died from a broken neck and severe spinal chord injuries, according to reports. FBI officials decided to get involved after a video turned up on social media that shows Robinson’s friend, Daejhanae Jackson, viciously beating her while a man can be heard egging her on. The video ends before the extent of Robinson’s injuries are made clear. This story is fowl on so many levels and obviously these people were never true friends. Shanquella’s funeral was held this morning in Charlotte, North Carolina.
