Nathan Congleton/NBC(NEW YORK) Just 24 hours after being released, 68-year-old Al Roker was rushed back to the hospital due to the ongoing concern of blood clots in his legs and lungs. According to a source, “Al was taken from his home [on] a stretcher back to the hospital on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital, he improved.” The news of his most recent hospitalization comes as NBC has confirmed that he will not attend tonight’s (Wednesday) Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony. We will keep Al Roker in a prayers. The beloved weatherman revealed he had prostrate cancer November 2020.
