Griner Bonded With Crew During 18-Hour Flight Home

(Russian Federal Security Service via AP)  Brittney Griner was in good spirits and feeling social during her flight back to the U.S. According to White House envoy Roger Carstens, the WNBA star spent the 18-hour flight talking and bonding with the flight crew. She told them “I’ve been in prison for 10 months, listening to the Russians.  I want to talk”. Griner arrived in San Antonio, TX on Friday morning, after she was freed Thursday as part of a prisoner exchange. Brittney is receiving a medical evaluation at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, and NBC has reported physically she is doing well. Welcome Home BG!!!
