R&B Vocalist Angela Bofill Reportedly Passes Away At 70

The soul vocalist has passed away at the age of 70. The singer’s longtime manager, Rich Engel, confirmed the news on her social media. Fellow vocalists Melba Moore and Maysa also confirmed the news and offered their condolences. Angela Bofill has publicly dealt with health issues in the past few years, including a 2006 stroke that left her partially paralyzed and effectively forced her to retire from active performing. Angela was such a beautiful woman known for her smooth and powerful vocals. She began her professional career in the 1970’s and gave us smooth hits like ‘This Time I’ll Be Sweeter’, ‘I Try’, and ‘Tonight I Give In’.  Rest In Peace Angela.
