Legendary Singer Al Jarreau Dead At Age 76

Al Jarreau has died in Los Angeles at the age of 76. Al Jarreau had just announced earlier this week that he was retiring from touring due to exhaustion. The legendary singer was hospitalized on February 8, 2017 and cancelled his remaining tour dates for 2017. According to his Manager Joe Gordon, he died Sunday at 5:30 am LA time.

He sold millions of albums, won seven Grammy Awards and on March 6, 2001 he received his star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Jarreau was called the “voice of versatility” by the Chicago Tribune, we have lost another great one.
