Domestic Violence Surges During Stay-At-Home Order

Police departments across the country, including Dallas are reporting an increase domestic violence cases as victims have no way out due to the Stay-at-Home orders.  According to research even during a pandemic domestic violence is underreported because the victim can’t get away to call authorities for help.  The Dallas Police Department reported a 20,3 percent increase since February.
