Despite efforts to stop them, Americans are getting more robocalls than ever. A staggering 5 billion robocalls were received in March, according to data from YouMail. That’s a 15% increase over the previous month, despite ‘significant’ efforts to block them by digital carriers. The most common robocall was a campaign for low-cost health insurance. I used to receive dozens of unknown and robocall per day. There are few things that you can do to help reduce the number of calls. You can put your number on a ‘Do Not Call’ national registry or set your iPhone on DND for unknown callers to help deal with the interruption.
