BlackKklansman Gives Spike Lee First Oscar Nod

Producer Spike Lee gets his first Oscar nomination with BlackKklansman. The movie is the true story of a black cop that went undercover to infiltrate the Klan. Ron Stallworth was the first black detective in Colorado Springs in the 1970’s. Spike Lee directed  and Jordan Peele produced the unbelievable true story that many are familiar with comedian Dave Chappelle. It’s one category to watch at the 91st Academy Awards.

Jordan Peele is nominated for Best Picture, Terence Blanchard, Best Original Music Score. The movie also is Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Eidting.
