CDC: COVID-19 Symptoms Can Last For 3 Weeks

by

The CDC has updated the guidance regarding COVID-19 in young people. The effects of COVID-19 can linger for weeks in infected patients — even in young people who don’t have underlying conditions. That’s according to a new study released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which reports 35 percent of all coronavirus victims don’t recover for at least three weeks. Of them, 47 percent are 50 or older, while 26 percent are between the ages of 18 and 34, according to the CDC. The study also reveals the average patient suffers seven of 17 possible COVID symptoms, with fatigue being the most common complaint. A persistent cough and shortness of breath are a close second and third, the study indicates. It’s odd how some people recover after three weeks, while others die in just a few days?
