If you have never seen the show, the premise is as follows: people agree to participate in the experiment to legally marry a complete stranger. The show has specialists including a spiritualist, a relationship coach and a sociologist. They use scientific matchmaking methods to determine who will be a good match. The couples never meet each other until their wedding day. After several weeks of being married and living as a couple they decide if they want to stay together. Critics are asking how DeVon Franklin could be an expert on the show when he is recently is divorced. He said he is able to draw upon his own personal experiences and help the couples.
