Global Citizens is a movement of engaging citizens using their collective voices to end extreme poverty by the year 2030. The effort seeks to improve health, address environmental issues and fight for women’s equality. Since 2011, millions of Global Citizens around the world have taken over 14 million actions to solve the world’s biggest challenges. The goals is to help 736 million people out of extreme poverty by engaging every single person on the planet to aid in this mission. A total of 650 million people’s lives have benefited by collective social action. The Global Citizens Festival is a 10-hour festival with performance by Alicia Keys, Janelle Monáe, H.E.R. and Lizzo!
