(AP Photo/John Locher) The Grammys are adding five new categories including songwriter of the year. They will also have a special song for social change award. The new non-classical songwriter category will recognize one individual who was the most prolific non-performing and non-producing songwriter for a body of new work. This is different than song of the year that awards the songwriter or songwriters who wrote lyrics or melodies to one song.

Alternative Music Performance
Americana Music Performance
Score soundtrack for video games and other interactive media.
