The new total — which represents the fourth largest jackpot in U.S. history — comes after 27 consecutive drawings over the past three months have failed to produce a winner. The jackpot started at $20 million in April. The lump sum cash option for the jackpot comes out to $464.4 million, lottery officials say. That $2.00 ticket can buy you a whole lot of dreams.
