Michael Jordan Celebrated 60th Birthday With $10 Million Donation

Michael Jordan celebrated his 60th birthday with a history-making charitable donation.
The former NBA MVP and world champion donated $10 million to Make-A-Wish – the largest individual donation in the organization’s history. Jordan has worked with Make-A-Wish since 1989 and was named its Chief Wish Ambassador in 2008. He called it “an honor” to “help bring a smile and happiness to so many kids”.  Michael Jeffrey Jordan was the first billionaire athlete. The Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer played in the NBA for 15 seasons, winning six championships with the Chicago Bulls.  The NBA legend turned 60 on Friday.
