Legendary Coach Pat Summit Dead At 64


WOW this is some sad news inside #BeautyShopTalk ~ Legendary women’s basketball coach, Pat Summit has died at the age of 64. Summit lead the University Of Tennessee Lady Volunteers for more than three decades! She is also the winningest coach in the history of major college basketball. Unfortunately, her death came five years after she was first diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Bless her heart!

In her 38 years at Tennessee, Summitt won eight national titles and 1,098 games — the most by any Division 1 basketball coach, male or female. Her teams made an unprecedented 31 consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
