Bolt Anchors 4×100 Relay To Gold, U.S. Disqualified

I think it’s totally safe to say that USAIN BOLT is that man!! He showed up and showed out at the Olympics in Rio! Bolt won his ninth career gold, and achieved a personal triple-triple with a third gold medal for a third consecutive Olympics! #BeautyShopTalk is tho, the U.S. men’s 4X100 Relay team was disqualified!! NOOOOOO!

According to what’s on Yahoo’s website, the U.S. finished the race third but was disqualified after leadoff runner Mike Rodgers was ruled to have passed the baton to Justin Gatlin before the start of the first exchange zone! The Americans’ disqualification moved Canada up to win the bronze. Jamaica’s Usain Bolt grabbed the gold, while Japan won the silver in the race!

If the ruling stands, it will mark the ninth time since 1995 the U.S. men have been disqualified or failed to get the baton around at the Olympics or world championships, according to the Associated Press!! WOW! The Closing ceremonies will take place on Sunday in Rio!
