R. Kelly hasn’t been faithful…to his commitment to perform in Texas. This is according to a concert promoter in the Lone Star State, who is suing Kelly for failing to return the full deposit he was paid for a show in Dallas that never happened.
According to TMZ, Darryl Austin claims he hand delivered a check for $100,000 to Kelly’s people in January, but when it came to nailing down the details for the concert a month later, they played dumb.
Austin claims Kelly then returned the six figure deposit, only it was $30,000 short. Now, the promoter wants a court to demand that Kelly either pay it back, or live up to his obligation to Dallas’s R&B fans.
