IM Global has decided to join the team and finance Marlon Wayans “Fifty Shades of Black.” The “Fifty Shades of Grey” spoof is scheduled to release early next year.
Marlon will produce, star, and write the spoof and he will be teaming up with producer-writer, Rick Alvarez, and director, Mike Tiddes. The new film will surely be a creative comedy when this trio reunites after they created the two “Haunted House” Spoofs.
IM Global’s CEO, Staurt Ford mentioned that the film will release in 2016. Marlon will also be partnering with Matt Jackson, president of production, and the senior VP of production, and Glendon Palmer is the executive producer.
“We’re excited to be back in business with IM Global doing our comedic remix of this movie,” Wayans said. “Sex and comedy go hand-in-hand, and I’m looking forward to having fun with this project. It’s amazing when a film of this caliber comes along begging to be made fun of. I’m really happy to be doing what I love with people I love to do it with. That double entendre was intentional
