Suge Knight, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre Named in Wrongful Death

by

Suge Knight

Now this is a hot mess!  More money for Dr. Dre. and Ice Cube, more problems.  I don’t know if Suge Knight has any money left but if he does he probably won’t much longer. It looks like Suge Knight’s hit and run case has just turned into an even bigger, monstrous legal battle.

The Death Row Records co-founder is currently facing multiple charges in the death of Terry Carter, who died after Suge struck him in the parking lot of Tam’s Burgers in Compton back in January. But now, Carter’s widow, Lillian, is suing not only Suge for Terry’s death, but also naming Dr. Dre and Ice Cube as defendants.

As previously reported, the hit and run was the aftermath of an argument that took place on the set of Dre and Cube’s film, Straight Outta Compton.

In a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, Lillian claims that Dre and Cube hired men whom they knew where gang members to do security on the set of the movie. Of the names mentioned, Cle “Bone” Sloan who was also injured during the hit and run.

Carter’s widow believes that some of the gang members threatened Suge, which led to the rap mogul “carelessly, recklessly, violently, and negligently” putting his car in reverse, thus running over over and killing her husband.

The suit also claims that Dre, Cube and Universal should have done more to keep Suge away from the set considering his violent history. The family is also suing Tam’s Burgers for not having security on location. Terry’s family claims crimes frequently happen in that parking lot.
