I remember going to the movies to see Hidden Figures and when the long drawn out previews of upcoming movies came on I got up to go buy some popcorn but I stopped when the previews of the movie “Get Out” came on. It was so creepy but the cast alone made me curious about this movie about a interracial couple who go to visit “her” creepy parents and the scary things that happen next. I did not make it back to see the movie but knew it was on I wanted to see. Now it just made $100 million at the box office with African American Actor Daniel Kaluuya in the lead role. It is back on my list…
