Sprint, T-Mobile announce merger. Combined the companies would be valued at 146 billion. This merger is big news. They tried to get this deal done back in October, but talks fell apart. This will mean stronger competition with AT&T and Verizon. It will change some things and shake some things up…The executives are saying this will mean lower prices and more jobs for us the consumers. If this is true I am for this deal. It will keep AT&T and Verizon a run for their money. I want to hopeful about the lower prices but it seems that shortly after the prices go down, they come right back up. Hopefully the competition between AT&T, Verizon and now Sprint/T-Mobile will keep our phone bills down.
