Lebron encourages everyone to get out and vote. LeBron James, when not on the court, spends a lot of time on issues of social justice. With the midterm elections coming up, the NBA superstar is using his celebrity to encourage voters to get to the polls.
Sharing a link to a video of former President Obama’s refuting excuses people use to justify not voting, James tweeted, “Make your plans and get out and vote. No reason not to.”
The newly minted Laker recently opened a school in his hometown of Akron, Ohio to help at-risk students get an education, which he received praise from the Obama family.
