LL Cool J and Ice Cube team up to buy sports TV stations.  LL Cool and Ice Cube are trying to take over TV, the Hip-Hop heavyweights are part of a group that is interested in buying 22 regional sports stations that originally were owned by Disney.
Disney, however, is being forced to sell the stations due to their economic stronghold on ESPN, which would give them too much power in the TV sports space.
The 22 stations include regional sports stations like Fox Sports Arizona, Fox Sports Detroit, Fox Sports Southwest and the YES Network which is estimated to be worth over $5 billion.
Other private groups such as Apollo Global Management and Sinclair Broadcast Group are interested in the buying the stations which are set to sell for between $15 to $25 billion. LL Cool J and Ice Cube have also enlisted billionaire Carolyn Rafaelian from Alex and Ani Jewelry as a partner.
If you could pick a celebrity as a business partner, who would it be?
