As annoying as Selfies may be to some, it saved one man from 99 years in jail.
A 21 year old man was accused of a violent crime against his ex-girlfriend, a woman he had not dated since high school. He was arrested and released on $150,000 bond.
His mom remembered the evening of the “attack” and went to her phone to find the selfie that the family had taken together. The selfie was taken at 7:02pm. The accuser said the attack happened at 7:20pm-70 miles away.
Charges were dropped against the man and the woman has not been charged with a crime.
