Michael Jordan Turns Down $1M Deal.  He turned it down because the Client Wanted Him to Say a Silly Phrase.
A 1992 interview with Michael Jordan has resurfaced between Michael Jordan and Playboy magazine.
In the interview, Jordan said he turned down an offer from Quaker Oats because they wanted him to say a phrase on camera.
He said it was to promote Van Kamp’s pork and beans. They wanted him to say, “beanee weenies” on camera. He thought the phrase was silly.
In 1992 his net worth was nowhere near what it is now. It was approximately $3.1 million.
If you were offered $1 million dollars but you had to do something for it, what are you not willing to do?
