Michael Jackson’s Estate and Former Manager Settle Lawsuit
A decade-long dispute has finally ended between Michael Jackson’s estate and the King of Pop’s former manager, Tohme Tohme.
Tohme Tohme sued the estate in 2012, he claimed that he was owed 15 percent commission on This Is It revenue and a finder’s fee for a loan that kept Neverland Ranch from going into foreclosure.
The estate claimed that Tohme was terminated before Jackson died. The hearing which started on May 14th, ended in only five days with the parties coming to an agreement.
A joint statement was released by both parties that acknowledged Tohme’s “efforts on behalf of Michael,” the statement said that a “confidential settlement was reached.”
