Well we’ve been speculating about it, talking about it, and now it looks like the move has been made. According to ESPN when Jason Garrett’s contract expires on January 14th, it will not be renewed. This will be the first time since 2010, that the Dallas Cowboys will interview for a new head coach since they let Wade Phillips go and hire Jason Garrett as head coach. From inside the organization it was a difficult move for some because of the close relationships Jason had with Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones. Jason played back up quarterback behind Troy Aikman just to give you a idea of how long he has been connected to the Dallas Cowboys organization. Next move…interviewing for a new head coach.
