Need to get your back-to-school shopping done? This might be the weekend to do it tax-free. 10 states have declared a two-day ‘tax holiday’, ditching sales tax for clothing and school supplies. The following states kick off the tax holiday on Friday: Iowa, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Arkansas will begin its tax holiday on Saturday, and Maryland will start on Sunday. Florida is also in the middle of a 10-day tax holiday that runs through Tuesday.
