John Legend is going into the skincare business. Legend has partnered with L.A. holding company, A-Frame brands, founded by actor and activist Hill Harper and entrepreneur Ari Bloom.
During an interview with Fortune Magazine, Legend’s decision to partner with A-Frame was due to their diverse team who is committed to people of color and their needs.
Chief Brand Officer, of A-Frame Brands, Martin Ekechukwu, said, “The entire purpose of the business is to create products for people who need them the most. And we’re defining ‘people who need them the most’ as Black, Brown, Asian and [people with disabilities] … anyone for whom there has been nothing specifically created for you, from the ground up.”
The official name of the skincare line and will it will be released is not yet known, but with EGOT winner, John Legend behind it it’s sure to be legendary.
