Birdman’s Brother Allegedly Helped Feds

by

Birdman

The half-brother of Cash Money co-founders  Birdman and Slim has been released from a life sentence after he allegedly cooperated with federal agents.   Terrance “Gangsta” Williams was released from federal prison after serving over 20 years for plotting murder and selling heroin. NOLA.com reports that Gangsta helped bankroll the Cash Money label and was part of the “Hot Boys” gang that inspired the name of the Louisiana group.   A year after their debt, Gangsta was busted for plotting to call New York dealers over heroin. He was just released after being sentenced to 27 and a half years in prison.   His attorney confirmed he was released, but failed to mention why he was released. Now, a judge sealed the records, but court records show that Gangsta’s “substantial assistance” helped feds get other significant guilty pleas.   Do you think this will hurt Cash Money Records’ reputation?
