Kentanji Brown Jackson Becomes First Black Woman Confirmed to the Supreme Court

It is done!  History has been made!  Kentanji Brown Jackson has been confirmed to be the first African American woman confirmed to the Supreme Court.  The vote was 53 to 47 with 3 Republicans voting for Judge Jackson.  President Joe Biden made a campaign promise that he would nominate a black women to the highest court in the land, and he has kept his promise…As a black woman I am so proud of history right now.  Congratulations to a job well done Kentanji Brown Jackson!
