Meagan Goode and DeVon Franklin are filing for divorce after nine years of marriage.
They said in a joint statement that even though their marriage is ending, their love for each other remains “eternal. Out of all of the Hollywood couples, Meagan and DeVon had a marriage that everyone admired and wanted to have.
They also said in a joint statement that after much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected, “There’s no one at fault; we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love. We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife.” Beautifully said, but it makes me wonder “do people really grow apart in a relationship or is something else at the core of the split of this couple that some of us thought would be together forever.
