The racial gap among vaccinated U.S. residents appears to be closing. Data released by the Kaiser Family Foundation reveals vaccination rates among minority groups are skyrocketing, with Hispanic residents surpassing White people. Of U.S. Latino residents, 73 percent have received at least one dose of vaccine, according to the data. Whites follow with 71 percent, with Black Americans closing in with 70 percent, per the foundation. In fact, the people with the lowest vaccination rates are White, Christian, Republicans, rural or uninsured – or a combination of any of those factors, according to the study.
