Sony Buys Out Michael Jackson’s Publishing For $750 Million

We know that Michael Jackson was a world class entertainer, but as a business man he was just as brilliant.  He bought in to a music publishing deal for 50% stake back in 1995, for 41 million and now it’s worth $750 million dollars!

I remember when he purchased his friendship with Paul McCartney soured when Michael purchased the catalog, because the Beatles songs were included and Paul was pissed because Michael outbid him, and Paul didn’t know Michael was planning to purchase it.  Now Sony is purchasing it.
