Federal prisons have to start providing free sanitary napkins to incarcerated women. I never thought about it but why were they not provided? The change came a few weeks after a bill was introduced by Sens. Cory Booker, D-N.J., Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Dick Durbin, D-Ill. There’s a movement to make these products available tax-free. More here.
