“The View” has had more drama behind the scenes than on the show and now the latest rumor involves show moderator Whoopi Goldberg. The story is that Goldberg will be leaving the talk show for a new sitcom. Well that’s not exactly true.
Whoopi will be launching a new sitcom but will not be leaving “The View.” She will co-star in ABC’s comedy pilot “Delores & Jermaine,” which basically means two checks for Whoopi from ABC!
Goldberg is still under contract with “The View”, so if “Delores & Jermaine” is picked up, she’ll be pulling double duty at ABC!
