NeNe Leakes continues to do big things! Since leaving “Real Housewives of Atlanta”, Leakes’ star has continued to rise with hosting duties on ‘Fashion Police’ and filling in for Tamar Braxton on ‘The Real’, now NeNe is headed back to Broadway!
“I’m so excited to say I am headed back to BROADWAY in CHICAGO as Matron Mama Morton!” she wrote on Instagram yesterday.
The former ‘RHOA’ star will play the role made famous by Queen Latifah in the movie version of the Broadway musical. This will be NeNe’s second time on the big stage, she made her Broadway debut last year as the Wicked Witch in Cinderella.
Leakes will star in Chicago November 23rd through December 20th.
