In the aftermath of the police shooting of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, another man Philando Castile was killed by police outside of St. Paul, Minnesota as he was reaching for his ID during a traffic stop. The aftermath of the shooting was recorded by Castile’s girlfriend.
“He doesn’t have no records or anything,” Castile’s girlfriend can be heard telling the police. “He’s never been in jail, anything. He’s not a gang member, anything.”
The officer involved in the shooting was placed on paid administrative leave.
