The 2016 ESPY Awards had a very powerful opening! Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James opened last night’s show with a message that promoted peace in the wake of the deaths at the hand of police in Baton Rouge and Minnesota and the murder of police officers in Dallas.
Later in the show, in his acceptance speech for the record-breaking performance award, Steph Curry thanked the players for their words.
