Andra Day showed up and showed out at the Democratic National Convention last night! Day along with a drum line performed her song “Rise Up” in a special appearance during night number 2 of the convention.
Day performed after very moving speeches from the “Mothers of the Movement”, which features black mothers of children who were killed in police involved shootings.
