Gabrielle Union is taking BET to court! The “Being Mary Jane” star is accusing the network of doubling her work and not giving her a pay raise.
According to the the suit, Union say that BET is putting 20 episodes of “Being Mary Jane” into the 4th season instead of splitting them into two seasons, she says that she was told by the network that there would not be anymore than 13 episodes in a season.
Union also claims that her contract says that she get a pay raise from $150,000 to $165,000 per episode in the show’s 5th season.
She is seeking more than $1 million dollars in damages.
