Former First Lady Michelle Obama is finally explaining her Inauguration Day “Side-Eye” and she says that it actually had nothing to do with the Trumps.
“So that moment of transition, right before the doors opened and we welcomed in the new family, our kids were leaving out the back door in tears, saying goodbye to people,” she told the audience at the American Institute of Architects convention in Orlando, Florida. “I didn’t want to have tears in my eyes because people would swear I was crying because of the new president.”
Mrs. Obama set social media on fire with people accusing her of giving “side-eye” to then incoming First Lady Melania Trump.
