Cynthia Marshall will be named “interim” CEO of the Dallas Mavericks in a press conference later today, she’s the former head of AT&T operations who recently retired as chief diversity officer from the company.
Marshall who was named as one of the top 50 most powerful women in corporate America by Black Enterprise magazine joins the Mavs in the wake of the sexual harrassment scandal that brought national attention.
According the sources, Marshall will run all non-basketball related operations for the team.
