Last night [August 20], everybody whose anybody poured into the Radio City Music Hall in New York City for the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. But who left with accolades to be used as bragging rights is all that matters.
Although they were not in attendance to the awards show, The Carters, Jay Z & Beyonce, won best cinematography for their music video ‘APES**T’ from their joint album Everything Is Love. Cardi B received a well deserved ‘Best New Artist’ award. Childish Gambino took home the ‘Best Choreography’, as well as ‘Video With A Message’ award for his revolutionary video performance for ‘This Is America’. In addition, Jennifer Lopez, DJ Khaled, and Cardi B all won ‘Best Collaboration’ for their song ‘Dinero’.
