The news is not good for Jussie Smollett who has been indicated on 16 felony counts by the Cook County grand jury.
The Empire star was originally charged with a felony of disorderly conduct for filing a false police report, however the new indictments will take his case to another level.
The new charges carry a possible sentence of probation to four years in prison.
